Galaxy S3 on Cricket (Android 4.0.4). I haven't found a solution yet. I even created a Samsung account in the 'Samsung Apps' app and logged in. It didn't help. Also, by default this app syncs all sorts of personal data (calendar, contacts) with Samsung, it appears.
Super annoying. For such an expensive phone I expected more.EDIT: This may explain it. I believe I found the app in the Google Play store, and it says it's not compatible with my carrier (like that should matter). At least I'm not missing out on much, it looks like.
Terrible reviews. The editor doesn't come installed by default, and installing it is disallowed on my phone/carrier, as shown above. The Edit menu option exists and launches Samsung's proprietary marketplace where it tries to download and install the photo editor. But errors out saying, 'service not available'. I guess I'll just have to ignore the Edit menu option and Share to the third party photo editing app I found (not Samsung's one).I'm not too broken up, because Samsung's photo editor has the worst user ratings I've seen, and the new app I found, by dev.macgyver is very impressive. Even the free version. I wanted something to adjust levels, contrast, crop, etc.
And it does that and more better than others I've used.
