Autocad Set Z Elevation

A few hours later, I import it to skp and proceed to create my model. Then lo and behold - errors. I went back to the cad and noticed that when converting my lines into polylines they convert into 3D polylines meaning a z-coordinate got in somewhere.I did copy from other files as that is standard operating procedure in our office (fairly small so need to be quick) so that may be the cause. Another cause may be the imported topographic survey overlaid onto the drawing. Another, I think is sometimes I accidentally press shift when switching between cad and skp so I might have unknowingly added in a z-coordinate or two.Is there anything I can do to make sure the cad drawing stays flat, 2d, and with no z-coordinates?.

Solution: To flatten a drawing automatically in AutoCAD:. Use the (not available in AutoCAD LT) command to change the Z values of all lines, arcs, and polylines to 0 (requires Express Tools to be loaded). Wifi adapter for windows 8.
